UNC-Chapel Hill will observe a formal closure of the University during Winter Break 2016: Monday, December 26, 2016 through Monday, January 2, 2017.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has selected Barnes & Noble College Booksellers, a Barnes & Noble Education company (NYSE:BNED), to operate its UNC Student Stores.

In an effort to reduce a significant amount of mail waste — the majority of which is immediately placed in recycling bins — the University has adopted an official Waste-Free Mail Policy. By adopting the Waste-Free Mail Policy, the University can expect to see a reduction of nearly 538,000 pounds (or nearly 270 tons) in paper waste each year.

Mail sent from one department to another should be addressed with a name or department and the CAMPUS BOX number of the addressee.
