USPS has announced a temporary price increase to domestic parcels. This price increase will be effective Oct. 18, 2020 through Dec. 27, 2020.
Starting June 1, Mail Services has shifted to a modified delivery system for campus customers. Depending on your route, mail will be delivered to your building either Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or Tuesday and Thursday.

University Mail Services will not be completing routes and will be at limited capacity. USPS mail will still be processed. Departments wanting to pick-up their mail can do so between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., Monday-Friday. Outgoing meter mail should be delivered to the UNC Mail facility before 2 p.m. Monday-Friday to be processed.
Update! The United States Postal Service now anticipates significant delays with all mail/packages being sent to China. There is no estimated delivery time frame, so USPS is advising to allow plenty of time for delivery. Mail Services will continue to process outgoing mail to China.
A February 2020 Chrome internet browser upgrade to v80 is causing PostScript printing errors when using a PostScript driver to print to some Carolina Managed Print/Xerox multi-function devices.
ITS print operations transferred print operations to the Print Stop effective Jan. 1, 2020. The agreement provides the UNC Print Stop with management oversight of the former ITS printing operations which includes check printing, 1099s, W-2s and basic printing services.
In observance of Employee Appreciation Day, University Mail Services will only operate afternoon mail routes beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18. The morning route is cancelled so employees may participate in Employee Appreciation activities. Please plan accordingly.
