Professional background: My entire career has been in higher education dining. I worked with Aramark, a contract food service provider, for over ten years in various positions both at UNC-Chapel Hill and East Carolina University.
Education: I earned my Bachelor of Science in hospitality management with a minor in business from East Carolina University, and I am currently working on my MBA.
What does your job entail: I oversee the University’s dining and vending contracts. I work closely with those contractors to ensure the contracts are being properly followed and that they are providing the best possible service to our students.
What is exciting you about your job right now: Planning for what comes next for dining at the University! I am very passionate about growing our program to become one of the best dining programs in the country for our students and the Carolina community.
What is something we may not know about you: I absolutely adore cooking and almost went back to school to be a pastry chef.
