University Mail Services will be changing the mail meter system used for processing outgoing departmental mail effective June 7.

When submitting outgoing U.S. mail to be processed by University Mail Services, departments should include a Postage Charge Authorization Slip. Beginning June 7, it is imperative that departments generate new authorization slips when submitting outgoing mail. While authorization slips will maintain the same look and formatting, new QR codes will be generated and slips produced before June 7 will not be scannable by the new mail meter system.

As a reminder, a new Postage Charge Authorization Slip should be generated for every mailing. This ensures that University Mail Services has the correct sender and departmental information on file.
