UNC-Chapel Hill will observe a formal closure of the University during Winter Break 2016: Monday, December 26, 2016 through Monday, January 2, 2017.
In observance of the Winter Break, University Mail Services (UMS) operations will be closed and Campus Mail deliveries will not be available during this time period.
The Cashier’s Office will also be closed during the entire break but has made plans to process all deposits on Tuesday, January 3 as end-of-year 2016 payments.
On Tuesday, January 3, 2017, UMS will resume with afternoon routes only. Morning routes will be suspended so that holiday volumes can be expedited.
